Payments are currently processed in simulated demo mode; no real charge is made until a live payment provider is connected.
1. The service
These terms govern your access to and use of ReceiptSpark (the "Service"), a web application that uses artificial intelligence to extract data from receipts and invoices uploaded by the user and lets them export it to spreadsheets.
2. Account
- To use the Service you must create an account with a valid email address and a password.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- You must be of legal age and use the Service for business or professional purposes.
3. Subscriptions and credits
- The Service is provided through subscription plans with a monthly allowance of credits. One credit equals processing one document.
- Credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over.
- The Free plan includes a limited monthly allowance and may be changed or discontinued with notice.
- In the production version, payment is charged in advance through a payment platform, and the subscription renews automatically unless canceled.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: you keep access until then and there is no further renewal. There is no contract or minimum term.
5. Refund policy
If the Service does not work as described and we cannot resolve it, you may request a refund of the current month's fee by emailing hello@receiptspark.com within 14 days of the charge. Periods already consumed and annual plans past those 14 days are non-refundable, except where consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
6. Acceptable use
By using ReceiptSpark you agree not to:
- Upload documents whose data you have no right to process.
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to process third-party data without a legal basis.
- Attempt to bypass usage limits, access others' systems, or interfere with the Service.
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.
7. Accuracy of extracted data — important
Data extraction is performed with AI models and is not guaranteed to be 100% accurate. Results are an aid, not a final accounting record. It is the user's sole responsibility to review and validate all data before using it for any accounting, tax or legal purpose. ReceiptSpark is not responsible for errors, omissions or consequences arising from data the user did not review.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available, but there may be interruptions due to maintenance, technical incidents or force majeure, including incidents affecting the hosting or AI providers.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReceiptSpark's total liability to you for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. ReceiptSpark is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or loss of data you did not keep a copy of.
10. Intellectual property
The software, brand and content of ReceiptSpark belong to its operator. The documents you upload and the data you export are and remain yours.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the current version on this page and, if the change is significant, notify you by email before it takes effect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence provides otherwise.
